Today is National Sex Day. What does that mean? Everyone will be trying to do it today. If you have not done it yet and will not be doing it later today, chances are you fall into one of the below categories:
You are a woman and you don’t use marijuana.
You are a man and your woman does not smoke marijuana.
In a recent survey, more than 70 million Americans agreed that women who use marijuana have more sex than those who do not use marijuana or marijuana products. The Marijuana and Sexuality Survey was conducted in May 2016 by a third-party for 18 Karat Reggae.
When compared to Americans 40 years and older, millennials between the ages of 18 to 39 were more likely to agree that women who regularly use marijuana have more sex. Half of Americans between the ages of 30 to 39 agreed that women who use marijuana tend to be more sexually active.
Fifty two percent of Americans between the ages of 30 and 39 agreed that women who smoke marijuana are more likely to be kinky in bed. In both circumstances, men were in more agreement than women about regular marijuana users wanting more sex and having kinkier sexual tendencies.
Men were also more likely than women to believe a woman who uses marijuana is more likely to be very intelligent. Over two-thirds (68%) of Americans agree that a woman who uses marijuana is more likely to be very intelligent.
“We wanted to undress America’s true opinions about marijuana and the women who use it,” said Henrietta Louis, VP of 18 Karat Reggae. “It was fascinating to discover a correlation between opinions about marijuana use, increased sex, being kinky and the extent to which women who use marijuana are very intelligent. The opinions between men and women, as well as different age groups made for the most interesting observations.”
This online survey was conducted by Regina Corso Consulting on behalf of 18 Karat Reggae between May 16 and 18, 2016 among 2,130 U.S. adults, aged 18 and older. Figures for age, gender, education, income, employment and region were weighted to being them into line with their actual proportions in the population. Because the sample is based on those who agreed to participate, no estimates of sampling error can be calculated. The reference to more than 70 million Americans is calculated as 29 percent multiplied by the American population of 245 million, which totals approximately 71.1 million.
