Sad but beautiful: Dying couple holds hands until the end

"Until death do us part" is an integral part of the marriage vow, representing eternal love. These days it seems that many couples don't take those words seriously, with so many marriages ending in divorce. But this photo that a granddaughter shared of her grandparents proves that true love still exists:

The granddaughter posted anonymously on Reddit, with a simple but heartbreaking caption. "My Grandma, 96, with my Grandpa, 100, hours before her death this weekend. 77 years of marriage." To see how this couple still loves each other so much after such a long time and are inseparable even in the moment of death is so sad and yet so beautiful.
This kind of powerful connection between married couples always warms the heart! Another great example is Ed and Floreen Hale, who were married more than 60 years. No matter who you are, you can't help but be touched by a love this strong!
